6 de sept. de 2016 · In Patrick Moraz’s case, said The Moody Blues breached an oral agreement they had that made him a lifetime member of the band. After recording and touring with the band for a several years, Moraz said he “discovered there was some kind of plot to ease me out [of the band].”
Moraz toured with the Moody Blues in support of their ninth album, Octave (1978), which began in late 1978. Their next album, Long Distance Voyager (1981), became the band's biggest hit, reaching No. 1 in the US.

Having tested many genres like blues, boogie woogie, jazz and rock, Patrick wound wind up winning local music contests and eventually formed a band with members of "The Nice" after Keith Emerson left to form ELP. This eventually led Patrick to join "Yes" and "The Moody Blues" and have a wonderful creative career that continues to this day.
