Fue producida como una serie original de Netflix por Aniplex y Nagai's Dynamic Planning, y animada por el estudio de Masaaki Yuasa, Science SARU. Yuasa dirigió el anime, Ichirō Ōkouchi escribió el guion y Eunyoung Choi fue el productor de animación.
Devilman: Crybaby. The protagonist Akira Fudo learns from his best friend, Ryo Asuka, that an ancient race of demons has returned to take back the world from humans.
