15 de jul. de 2009 · for the sentence "I can deliver the photos this afternoon", why I don't need to add the preposition "in" in front of this afternoon, so the new sentence would be " I can deliver the photos in this afternoon". Is the same rule applied to this morning/afternoon, next week? Thank you.
22 de abr. de 2006 · Afternoon es after noon, el cual significa después de las 12, o a lo mejor después de comer, a la 1:00 PM o 13:00. En cuanto a la tarde-noche, supongo que depende de los países. Por ejemplo en España la tarde suele empezar a las 4:00 PM o 16:00 y tarde-noche sería víspera, ¿no?.

If you mean, "on the afternoons of Monday, Wednesday and Friday," then you would not put very much of a pause between the names of the days.
