La final, a partido único, se disputó el 17 de mayo de 2000 en el Parken Stadion de Copenhague, en Dinamarca, y enfrentó al Galatasaray y al Arsenal. Tras 120 minutos sin moverse el marcador el conjunto otomano se impuso por 4-1 en la tanda de penaltis, convirtiéndose así en el primer equipo turco en ganar una competición europea.
