Strike Like Lightning is an album by the American musician Lonnie Mack, released in 1985. The working title was Return of the Flying V, after Mack's 1958 Gibson Flying V. Regarded as a comeback album, Strike Like Lightning was a commercial success.

Co-produced by Stevie Ray Vaughn, this was Lonnie's ticket back to the show after a few years on the sidelines. To say it was an inspired date would be putting it mildly. With his batteries recharged, Mack was in peak form, playing and singing better than ever.

In 1985, Mack staged a "full-fledged comeback" with the blues-rock album, Strike Like Lightning (co-produced by Vaughan and Mack), a tour featuring guest appearances by Vaughan, Ry Cooder, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood, and a concert at Carnegie Hall with Albert Collins and Roy Buchanan.
