Squint is an album by American jazz guitarist Julian Lage, released on June 11, 2021, through Blue Note Records.

Squint, the result, is his second trio album with bassist Jorge Roeder and drummer Dave King, after 2019’s Love Hurts. It reflects a deepening devotion to the solid-body guitar and its very particular sonic and geometric properties.
Along with the announcement, it was announced that his debut release on the label entitled Squint would be released on June 11. The lead single "Saint Rose" was released on that day as well. [ 1 ] April 9 saw the release on the second single "Boo's Blues."
9 de jun. de 2021 · Lage excels throughout Squint as both an improviser and a composer, and he is well served by bassist Jorge Roeder and drummer Dave King, both of whom had toured with him for two years before the pandemic delayed the completion of recording.
Introducing a trio with Jorge Roeder and Dave King, Lage released 2019's Love Hurts and 2021's Squint. On 2022's View with a Room, the trio added Bill Frisell as a second guitarist.
