Spare Ass Annie and Other Tales is a spoken word collaboration featuring William S. Burroughs reading excerpts from his books set to music by The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy. The album was produced by Hal Willner. [1]

Michael Franti & Rono Tse (from Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprosy) and Hal Willner managed to take W.S.B.'s odd voice with almost no rhythm, put some industrial beats to it and come up with something not only listenable, but amazing.
