Tod Howarth (born September 24, 1957) is an American rock musician from San Diego, California. He is best known as serving as a keyboardist, a guitarist, and vocalist for the melodic hard rock group Frehley's Comet, led by former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley.

Tod Howarth is an awesome musician and one of the nicest guys in the biz you will ever meet. He’s been making great albums and playing great shows for decades with everyone from 707 to Cheap Trick to his new band Cocoa Blue.
However, before they made their initial record, Scarlet (and Sabino) was replaced by Tod Howarth who played guitar and keyboards. Frehley's Comet was supposed to simply be the title of Frehley's next solo album, but Frehley decided to use that as the name of the band rather than release the record as a solo artist. [4]
With Trunk and his bandmates in Frehley's Comet – John Regan, Tod Howarth, and Anton Fig – the band hit the ground running with their self-titled debut in 1987. To his credit, Frehley held up his end of the bargain, laying forth swells of creativity not seen since his latter days in Kiss.
