Ravinder Singh Bopara (born 4 May 1985) is an English cricketer who last played for Sussex County Cricket Club in one day cricket in 2023 and has represented the England national team. Originally a top-order batsman, his developing medium pace bowling has made him a batting all rounder in the one day game.
Ravi Bopara is a right-handed batsman and medium-pace bowler who played for England in Tests, ODIs and T20s. He scored three Test hundreds, including two in a row against Sri Lanka in 2010, and made his ODI debut in 2006.
Ravi Bopara is only the second Sikh cricketer after Monty Panesar to play for England. At the age of 17, he managed to earn a professional contract with Essex.
