Outrider is an album by Jimmy Page, released by Geffen Records on 21 June 1988. It is his only solo studio album and the first time since 1969 he recorded with a record label other than Atlantic Records/Swan Song Records. Page recorded the music at his personal studio The Sol.
The three-way collision of skidding bottleneck sounds, growling wah-wah and stabbing lead work over Bonham’s angry whack in “Wanna Make Love” is classic Page guitarchitecture.

In 1988, Bonham joined Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page for his Outrider album and tour. In May of the same year, Bonham appeared with the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin for a performance at Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary concert in New York City.
