Jeanette Baucomont. French soprano vocalist, born Jeanne Duclaux on 28 September 1926 in Clermont-Ferrand, died in Paris 1 July 2019. She made many television, film and stage appearances, and was a founding member of Les Swingle Singers in 1963, but left in 1969 due to ill-health.

Janette Baucomont and Claudine Meunier perform with tremendous verve and vitality throughout (though for me the vocal highlight of the record remains Sanguineti's reading of the narration-a model of clarity and simplicity).
