Ivan Zagni (born 16 October 1942) is a New Zealand-based musician and composer who has been a member of bands such as Jody Grind, Big Sideways and Avant Garage, and has recorded albums with Aynsley Dunbar, Elton Dean, Don McGlashan and Peter Scholes. Early pop and rock years.

UK / NZ musician and composer. Born in the UK in 1942, Zagni played in several UK beat and Progressive / Psychedelic bands in the 1960s. He was Choir Master at St John the Baptist Cathedral in Norwich between 1971 and 1977. He moved to New Zealand in 1980 and has worked with Don McGlashan and Steve Garden.

His first musical experience was as a boy chorister in the Norwich St John the Baptist Catholic Cathedral, then at 12 he took guitar lessons.
