In 1991. it was nominated for a Juno Award for "Album of the Year". Guest musicians on the album include George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Bobby Whitlock and Mark Knopfler.

However, his knack for inventive arrangements is nil. Bad late 1980s production, predictable (if proficient) solos, and a dull singing voice prevent this overlong album from attaining even an average status.
