Unlike much of Beck's work, Flash is regarded as a pop outing, and was dubbed a pop rock album by critic Glenn Astarita. According to writer Tom Harrison, the combination of Rodgers, Jimmy Hall and other outsider contributors lends Flash a "high-priced funk-rock foundation."

14 de sept. de 2022 · It’s a little gimmicky, and it’s different than the album version, but it’s fun. And remember: Hall’s work on Beck’s “Flash” album got Hall a Grammy nomination for best male vocalist.
