He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 2015, and in the Blues Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2016.

Also playing along is Bishop's harmonica player Applejack. So, the music on this record is more like the pre-Capricorn sound of The Elvin Bishop Group.

Totally underrated beautiful solo album by ex-Lynn County keyboard man/singer. On half of which he's backed by Linn County and the other half by the Elvin Bishop Group. I guess at a stretch you could call this the fourth Linn County album. Mostly bluesy rock, as you'd expect...

Guitarist and singer Elvin Bishop is well-known to most American 20th century rock fans. He isn't a major figure, but he's not a footnote, either.
During this period, he recorded an album with the great guitarist, Earl Hooker, called Hooker and Steve. He also recorded a self-titled solo album. He then joined the Elvin Bishop Band, recording a few albums with them.
