David Bromberg (born September 19, 1945) is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. An eclectic artist, Bromberg plays bluegrass, blues, folk, jazz, country and western, and rock and roll. He is known for his quirky, humorous lyrics, and the ability to play rhythm and lead guitar at the same time.
30 de nov. de 1998 · This is a wonderful collection of tunes and the musicians were on top of their game in the day. 25 tunes and every one better than the next. I had never heard David Bromberg play guitar before this album, and he does some super nice flat picking.
On this CD you will hear one of the true masters of the bluegrass dobro. Mike Auldridge has gone on to make many albums with the Seldom Scene, as a solo artist, and with Chesapeake. Another plus is that Auldridge assembled the cream of bluegrass pickers for these albums.
