Ampage is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles formed in 1978. [1] . Over the years its members included musicians such as Earl Slick, who also worked as a lead guitarist for David Bowie, [2] and Mark Englert of Dramarama. [3] . The band played in Sunset Strip clubs such as Whisky in the 1980s Glam metal scene.

In 2020 Ampage started filming a documentary called " Falling Higher" which will include 4 decades of past performances of the band, life on the sunset strip as well as all the controversy over the years . Ampage also hit the studio during the world wide pandemic writing and recording a brand new album called " Season In Hell" both set to be released sometime by the end of the year.
