16 de ene. de 2018 · The Snow Beach collection, which consisted of hoodies, hats, and, most iconically, a pullover parka in yellow, navy blue, and red, is today some of the priciest vintage Ralph Lauren on the market.
As a collection, Snow Beach was successful, but it was a shopping trip by the Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon the day of the video shoot for “Can It All Be So Simple” that cemented its legendary status among collectors.
In particular Snow Beach was a capsule collection released in the winter of 1993. This piece was made famous in 1994 when Raekwon the chef from The Wu-Tang Clan wore the Snow Beach jacket in the Can It All be so Simple? music video, directed by Hype Williams.

In a downtown Brooklyn street in 1994, Raekwon from the Wu-Tang Clan rocked up to the set of the video shoot for the group’s single Can It Be All So Simple wearing a unique and distinctive yellow-and-blue windbreaker emblazoned with the hot-pink words ‘Snow Beach’, and one of the most seminal moments in hip-hop style was born.
