[1] [2] Es una precuela de Game of Thrones y la segunda serie de televisión basada en la saga literaria Canción de hielo y fuego.
La serie cubre el período turbulento en el que los miembros de la Casa Targaryen se vieron enfrentados entre ellos por causa de algo que sonará familiar a los fans de la saga: quién debe sentarse en el Trono de Hierro, sede del poder del Rey de los Siete Reinos.
