Batman: Earth One is a series of graphic novels written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Gary Frank. The series is a modernized re-imagining of DC Comics' long-running Batman comic book franchise as part of the company's Earth One imprint.
Gary Frank (nacido en Bristol, Inglaterra en 1969) es un dibujante y guionista de historietas, notable por sus ilustraciones en Midnight Nation (2000) y Supreme Power (2003), ambos escritos por el estadounidense Joseph Michael Straczynski.
Gary Frank is a British artist that created the longest standing Batmobile design in comics history, the so called 'Mean Machine' that lasted from the mid 90's to the turn of the millennium. Today Frank is best known for the penciling the Batman: Earth One series and Batman: Dark Knight Dynasty.

In 2012, Frank and Johns collaborated on Batman: Earth One, an original graphic novel set on Earth-one of the DC Multiverse. The novel is the first in a series of graphic novels that redefines Batman. Since 2017, Johns and Frank have worked together on Doomsday Clock, a limited series featuring Superman and Doctor Manhattan.
