David William Duchovny (Nueva York; 7 de agosto de 1960) es un actor estadounidense de TV y cine, logró el reconocimiento internacional por su papel en la serie de televisión The X-Files donde interpreta al agente especial del FBI, Fox Mulder, también por el papel de Hank Moody en Californication.

2 de may. de 2024 · David Duchovny's Fox Mulder was a key factor in The X-Files' success, and his departure from the series in Season 7 disappointed fans. Duchovny left due to contract issues and a desire to act in other works.
That same year, David was offered the role of FBI Agent Fox "Spooky" Mulder on the long-running TV series The X-Files (1993). The show was a tremendous international success and propelled David (and his co-star Gillian Anderson) into super-stardom.

Duchovny appeared in both X-Files films; the 1998 science fiction-thriller of the same name and the supernatural-thriller The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008). He executive-produced and starred in the historically based cop drama Aquarius (2015–2016).
