Jean-Michel Basquiat (Brooklyn, Nueva York; 22 de diciembre de 1960 - Manhattan, Nueva York; 12 de agosto de 1988) fue un artista, poeta, músico, dibujante y pintor estadounidense. Basquiat fue el primero de los tres hijos de Matilde Andrades (28-7-1934 – 17-11-2008) y Gerard Basquiat (nacido en 1930).
