Private library music used for Amoco's advertising campaign during 1976. Promotional record came with insert containing information on the campaign, as well as a promotional button. The first track on each side is a vocal introduction and the rest of the tracks are instrumental.

American Oil Company The American Oil Company (AMOCO) also promoted a set of buttons in 1972 (Figs. 4-5). The AMOCO set included 38 lithographed buttons from 1 3/16" to 1" in diameter. Each button was originally marked "A-O-1972-X" (X being the number 1 through 38) on the bottom curl.

American Oil Company, known as Amoco, ran its "Join the 'American' Party" ad campaign from the 1930s and 1940s. In 1936, newspapers announced that gas stations were giving out multi colored, engraved portraits of the Presidents of the United States as collectible stamps as well.
