Dahmer did something similar, with how the black community was largely ignored during Dahmer’s murders. His Versace show looks at issues relating to the gay community in the 90’s.
american horror story is a anthology series, that means that every season is a completely different story, with different characters. however, the reason why the same actors play different parts, is a ryan murphy thing. so far confirmed, the characters in the show, don't know they look alike. and it's not all anthology, since there have been crossovers throughout the series.

The show started out as a normal teen show but it gradually became more kitschy and surreal and campy and it became into a amusing and creative teen show with memorable characters.

The first seasons of his shows are always really good with an amazing plot but then they just flop. But because AHS is not a single series in that sense, he doesn't really go stale unless he'll run out of ideas. 25.

I have given some thought on Ryan Murphy’s behavior in TRG, notably his rather overreaction when Robin pulled an all nighter at the office. Considering there was a gunman outside the office, you would think someone you supposedly love, you’d put their personal safety over your own insecurities.
