Lynwood Slim (born Richard Dennis Duran, August 19, 1953, Los Angeles, California; died August 4, 2014) was an American blues harmonica player and singer. Slim was best known as a singer in the style of smooth easy jazz/blues, as well as his harmonica and flute playing.

4 de ago. de 2014 · Blues harmonica player and singer Lynwood Slim has passed away following a stroke in mid-July. The California native was a Delta Groove artist, and had a longstanding career in the blues, playing harmonica from early in his teens for bands and fronting his own longstanding outfit, the Lynwood Slim Band.
