Starflyer 59 bass player and Velvet Blue Music owner Jeff Cloud joined Joy Electric from 1996 until 2002.
Joy Electric is a contemporary Christian synth pop group led by Ronnie Martin, formerly of Rainbow Rider and Dance House Children. The band has released several albums and EPs since 1994, featuring bouncy pop songs with religious and whimsical lyrics and analog synths.
