Xiu Xiu (/ ˈ ʃ uː ʃ uː / SHOO-shoo) is an American experimental rock band, formed in 2002 by singer-songwriter Jamie Stewart in San Jose, California. Currently, the line-up consists of multi-instrumentalists Stewart (the only constant member since formation), Angela Seo, and percussionist David Kendrick.

Xiu Xiu es una banda de música experimental originaria de San José ( California ), pero establecida en Seattle ( Washington ). Es un proyecto fundado por el cantautor Jamie Stewart en el 2002, quien ha sido el único componente que ha permanecido en la banda desde su formación.
Xiu Xiu have been called “self flagellating”, “harsh”, “brutal”, “shocking” and “perverse” but also “genius”, “brilliant”, “unique”, “imaginative” and “luminous.” The band is Angela Seo and Jamie Stewart.
