Jump back to the 1980s, when Heidi and Heather---inspired by the real-life WNBA-playing Burge sisters---are twins who cannot be more different from each other. But when the two transfer to a posh high school known for its athletics, sporty Heather and fashion-conscious Heidi land on the school's basketball team.
Heather and Heidi play volleyball for their school team, when their family decides that they need to go to a bigger school so that they will have a better chance for scholarships. But at the new school, the twins are discovered by the basketball coach.
