An Event In Autumn is a crime novel by Swedish author Henning Mankell. It is the twelfth installation in the Inspector Wallander series, which was made into the television series Wallander. It was translated by into English by Laurie Thompson in 2013, and published in August 2014 by Vintage Books.
An Event in Autumn: Directed by Toby Haynes. With Paula Videniece, Georg Nikolloff, Harry Kershaw, Matt Hickey. Whilst investigating the death of a pregnant girl who was pushed off a ferry, Wallander discovers a ten-year old skeleton in the garden of the house where he lives with girl-friend Vanja.
An Event in Autumn was the last film. Filming started 14 November and was directed by Toby Haynes. According to Yellow Bird producer Daniel Ahlqvist, An Event in Autumn is about how "Kurt tries to take charge of his own life by getting a new house but gets interrupted and is more or less forced back to his job".
