  1. 15 de may. de 2020 · Welcome to Cobra Kai! Fear does not exist in this dojo. Pain does not exist in this dojo. Defeat does not exist in this dojo. Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy. This is a place for discussing all things related to the Netflix (previously YouTube Premium) series Cobra Kai, the world of The Karate Kid and its sequels (even the Swank one).

  2. r/cobrakai. •. ZealousidealHeart437. I’m confused about the new 2024 karate kid movie? Discussion. I was always under the assumption that the 2010 Karate Kid Remake was non-canon to the Karate Kid 1984 Trilogy and Cobra Kai, but now Daniel who’s from that same universe is starring in a movie with Mr. Hans in a separate universe is also in it.

  3. 13 de ene. de 2021 · KK2 is so over the top compared to KK1. However, this movie is almost the same as Rocky II. It’s almost like it’s Karate Kid 1a rather than a separate movie. However, over the years I have grown much fonder of how amazing and over the top Sato and Chozen are as the “villains.”. Those 2 have the best lines in the entire series IMO.

  4. 7 de nov. de 2017 · The Karate kid one is over exaggerated to fuck and back because that was what the 80s did. The Machida one is the actual technique thrown correctly and not hampered by a broken leg, which would make it basically impossible to throw with any form of true effect.

  5. 21 de dic. de 2020 · No. The Next Karate Kid isn’t important (at least at this point.) The writers of the show said it’s canon in this universe, but it hasn’t factored into the show at all yet. As for the other films, Karate Kid 1 is essential, but you should definitely watch parts 2 and 3 as well. All 3 of the movies Daniel is in factors into the show.

  6. 30 de dic. de 2022 · Something I liked that they did in the original Karate Kid (something that opposes that internet claim as well as showing that some of the CK students have empathy) was when Bobby (iirc) tried to stop the fight after they landed a few hits on Daniel as like, “yes, it’s reasonable to get mad at someone for soaking you with water, but not to ...

  7. 28 de oct. de 2022 · Part III was just a bad movie; even at the time people hated it. Makes sense that The Next Karate Kid didn't even feature Daniel and was its own bad movie (though probably better than this one). Anyone but Ralph Macchio and you’d be right. It’s amazing to think he was in his 20s when he made the first Karate Kid.

  8. 21 de dic. de 2021 · The beats and percussion is spot on giving a playful feeling (Looking for Han) while also giving an action feel (Hard training). The Lunchroom - It starts off with a low flute-like sound and has some traditional percussion-based instrumentation. It's a very beautiful and peaceful listen, Nothing special, yet beautiful.

  9. 18 de sept. de 2023 · The only focal point of their arguments is the fact that it’s a Kung-Fu movie but it was named after Karate. I can understand the disdain for older people because of the nostalgia it gives them. But The KK (2010) was better in almost every aspect. Reply. ambitiousboy1.

  10. Karate Kid was a lot more realistic than Cobra Kai, and the kids didn't really act like you would expect based on the Cobra Kai show. Johnny and Cobra Kai really didn't care about Daniel. Sure, they were jerks if they happened to see him, but it was mostly a pattern of Daniel doing something and them 'responding' and then forgetting about him.
