Glasgow Warriors. Petrus Francois Smith (born 29 July 1972 in Lichtenburg, South Africa) is a former South African international rugby union player. He is now the head coach for Glasgow Warriors. [1] [2] His regular playing position was fly-half or centre.

In June 2020, Smith was confirmed as the new permanent head coach of Italy until the end of the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France. Smith was moved into a newly formed role of head of high performance in Italy in May 2021 as he stepped down from his role as Head coach of Italy.
