Jacqueline "Jackie" Joyner-Kersee, también conocida como Jackie Joyner (East St. Louis, Illinois; 3 de marzo de 1962), es una exatleta estadounidense especialista en pruebas combinadas y salto de longitud. Ganadora de seis medallas olímpicas, tres de ellas de oro entre 1984 y 1996.

22 de jul. de 2024 · Jackie Joyner-Kersee is a former athlete from the United States who, at the 1986 Goodwill Games in Moscow, became the first person to score more than 7,000 points in the heptathlon.
At the Olympic Games in Seoul, Joyner-Kersee won the gold by beating Wilhelmina by 76 points. Five days later, she earned a second gold medal in the long jump with a fifth-round leap of 7.40m. A jump right to the podium. Joyner-Kersee easily won the heptathlon again at the 1992 Games in Barcelona. In the long jump, she gained a bronze medal.
Joyner-Kersee won gold medals in the heptathlon and the long jump in her second Games, and earned a total of six medals throughout her Olympic career. She retired after the Atlanta 1996 Games and briefly played professional women’s Basketball in the American Basketball League.
