Matthew Robert Smith (Northampton, Inglaterra, 28 de octubre de 1982) es un actor británico de cine y televisión. Su primer papel importante en televisión fue en la serie dramática de la BBC Party Animals (2007).
Matt Smith is best known for playing the Eleventh Doctor in Doctor Who and Prince Philip in The Crown. He has also starred in films such as Morbius, Last Night in Soho and Mapplethorpe.

Matthew Robert Smith (born 28 October 1982) is an English actor. He initially aspired to be a professional footballer, but spondylolysis forced him out of the sport. After joining the National Youth Theatre and attending the University of East Anglia, Smith became an actor in 2003, performing in London theatres.
