Clayton Prince (also known as Clayton Prince Tanksley) is an American actor and producer best known for his roles as Seaweed J. Stubbs in Hairspray (1988) and as Reuben Lawrence on the soap opera Another World.
After working on The Cosby Show, Clayton starred in the original film Hairspray (with Ricki Lake, John Waters, Ruth Brown, Debbie Harry, Divine and Sonny Bono), and became a contract regular on the NBC soap opera Another World as Reuben Lawrence.
