4 de oct. de 2022 · Michael Rubenfeld is a Canadian artist and cultural producer who explores his Jewish-Polish roots in his theatre and art projects. He co-created FestivALT, a Jewish art collective in Poland, and co-wrote Alte Hajm, a play about the Jewish ghosts of the past.
Michael was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and now splits his time between Toronto and Krakow, Poland. He has had an extensive career in the theatre, film and television, known for his roles in Lucky Number Slevin, Fever Pitch, Suits and the most recent Wojtek Smarzowski film, Wesele. He plays Roy Sanders on the popular Polish series, Na Wspólnej.
1 de abr. de 2015 · Rubenfeld traveled to Poland with his mother in 2013 to explore their family history and mend their relationship. He ended up marrying a Polish graphic designer, creating a theater piece about their journey, and discovering his Polish identity.
