In both films he played Imhotep, an ancient Egyptian high priest.
Arnold Vosloo is a South African actor and producer, known for his roles as Imhotep in The Mummy and Blood Diamond, and Zartan in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He was born in Pretoria in 1962 and has won several awards for his theater work in his native country.
