Aghdashloo nació en Teherán (Irán) como Shohreh Pari Vaziri-Tabar ("Aghdashloo" es el nombre de la familia de su exmarido, el famoso pintor iraní Aydin Aghdashloo ), en una rica familia chiita secular.
