Walter Hamer Gahagan (February 14, 1864 – December 18, 1930) was an American civil engineer and general contractor who owned a construction business based in Brooklyn, New York, and a shipyard in Arverne, Queens.

Hace 6 días · Walter Gahagan, Meredith, NH — Walter Gahagan’s untimely passing on Friday, June 28th, has left the Meredith community in deep sorrow. His cousin, Laura Stockton, organized a fundraiser to help cover the funeral and farewell expenses.
During WWII, he served as major on the general staff of the Eastern Defense Command. In 1943 he became president of Gahagan Dredging Corp., a familyowned dredging and construction business established by his father in 1898.
