Mona left television in 1990, and at the same time her marriage to Doug Adair ended. Her children were now in college and she moved to Ravenna to live with one of her sisters. Mona took a year off for herself - out of the public eye.

In early 1983, Adair moved to Columbus to assume anchor duties at WCMH-TV, that city's NBC affiliate. Mona Scott joined him several months later, and their on-air partnership catapulted WCMH's evening newscasts to the most-watched in Columbus.
3 de ago. de 2022 · He’s played with such famous big bands as the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, with whom he did three tours, and the orchestras of Guy Lombardo, Henry Mancini and Cab Calloway, the latter at the Carolina Theater of Greensboro shortly after that iconic singer, songwriter, dancer, and bandleader appeared in the 1980s The Blues Brothers.
