In the years immediately following the band's breakup at the end of 1971, Martin Stone was a founding member of Chilli Willi and the Red Hot Peppers, Alan King was a founding member of Ace, and Roger Powell, Mike Evans and Ian Whiteman formed the Habibiyya.

Mike Hajj Amin ‘Ace’ Evans, erstwhile member of The Action, Mighty Baby and The Habibiyya died on Friday evening January 15 2010 in London from a heart attack and was buried on 22nd January in Beaconsfield, near London.

The Action were an English band of the 1960s. They were favored by the mod subculture and played soul music-influenced pop music. The band was formed as The Boys in August 1963, in Kentish Town, North West London. After Peter Watson joined them as an additional guitarist in 1965, they changed their name to The Action.
