The music has been described as "reggae influenced rock/pop" and a cross between The Police and the Grateful Dead. [2] The founding members were Sean Kelly (Guitar/Vocals), Charles Hambleton (Guitar), Andy Sheldon (Bass/Vocals), Jeep MacNichol (Drums/Vocals), and Al Laughlin (Keyboards/Vocals).

10 de may. de 2006 · Mr. Anonymous. Jeep MacNichol got his start in the late '80s as the drummer for the Samples, a group that came out a little too early to truly capitalize on the current popularity of laidback folk-rock.
They put a drummer-wanted ad on a campus bulletin board, which was answered by student Jeep MacNichol, and met keyboardist Al Laughlin (a Boston transplant) at a party. The members took their name for their survival technique of making meals from free food samples at local supermarkets.
That family includes Kelly, guitarist Charles Hambleton, bassist Andy Sheldon, keyboardist Al Laughlin and drummer Jeep MacNichol. They plan to take the stage together at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium for a one-night show.
