Peter Thorp is an independent arbitrator based in Paris. He is a former partner of the law firm Allen & Overy LLP and was from 2005 to 2011 Managing Partner of Allen & Overy's Beijing and Shanghai offices before joining the firm's Paris office.
Peter has substantial experience in dispute resolution law, both in the PRC and in Europe. He has acted as counsel for PRC and non-PRC clients in international arbitrations under the rules of all the major international arbitration institutions, including the ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, LCIA and CIETAC.
