Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV, conocido primero como Black Francis y luego como Frank Black (Boston, Massachusetts, 6 de abril de 1965), es un cantante, compositor y guitarrista estadounidense. [1] Es conocido por ser el líder de la banda de rock alternativo Pixies, en la que actuaba con el nombre artístico de Black Francis. [3]
After the breakup of the Pixies, Santiago went into a depression for the first couple of years but remained on good terms with bandmate Black Francis (who soon adopted the name Frank Black). Black, who was recording his 1993 debut album, Frank Black , contacted Santiago to ask whether he would contribute lead guitar.
