Lodewijck Huygens (13 March 1631 – 1 July 1699) was a Dutch diplomat. Life. Huyghens was the third son of the diplomat Constantijn Huygens and Suzanna van Baerle. His two older brothers were Constantijn Huygens, Jr. and the scientist Christiaan Huygens .
Lodewijk Huygens (1631-1699), hermano de Christiaan, era el tercer hijo del poeta y secretario del estatúder Federico Enrique de Nassau, Constantijn Huygens, y de Susanne van Baerle. Educado para ejercer la función diplomática, estudió Derecho en Leiden y en el Colegio Orange de Breda, junto a su hermano Christiaan.
Lodewijck Huygens era el tercer hijo de uno de los personajes más destacados del Renacimiento en Holanda, el célebre poeta y diplomático Constantijn Huygens, amigo de Descartes y de Rembrandt, y era hermano del prestigioso físico y astrónomo Christiaan Huygens.

10 de jun. de 2017 · A partir de marzo de 1647 y a causa de un duelo entre su hermano Lodewijk y otro estudiante, Huygens continúa sus estudios lejos de Leiden, en el Ateneo del Colegio de Orange recién fundado en Breda del que su padre era administrador.
Lodewijk Huygens was the third and youngest son of Constantijn Huygens Sr. He studied at the Illustrious School in Breda, and was drossaard of Gorinchem and the region of Arkel. He also was member of the Admiraliteit van de Maas. He is mainly considered as a shadowy figure with a reputation for wrangle.
Huyghens fue el tercer hijo del diplomático Constantijn Huygens y Suzanna van Baerle. Sus dos hermanos mayores fueron Constantijn Huygens, Jr. y el científico Christiaan Huygens. Fue admitido en el Orange College of Breda en 1649, pero en 1651 se metió en problemas por pelear un duelo.
