Ernest Lytton Leslie Forwood (3 October 1915 – 18 May 1988), known professionally as Anthony Forwood, was an English actor.
Anthony Forwood (1915-1988) was a British actor and writer who appeared in films such as Knights of the Round Table and The Story of Robin Hood. He was also the life partner and manager of actor Dirk Bogarde until his death.
The obvious danger was that Bogarde was gay and living with his partner Anthony 'Tote' Forwood, as he would until Forwood died in 1988. "This was a way of getting out a message" says Coldstream.
