Swing on the eighth notes, that’s got a little different feel, articulation, than R&B and soul music, but it’s all coming out of the same place.

I was asked to come over there and do a short tour with them, which I did, and I corresponded with Jörg Achim Keller via email because he had some ideas about doing some of my tunes with him.
But that music, and that band, is a place Randy Brecker now regards as home; somewhere he will depart from periodically, and to which he will return.
