Over the years, the band have shifted and transformed, always revolving around the core nucleus of Welchez and Rowell with their ear for pure pop abandon wrapped up in the crunch and verve of great garage-punk.
Crocodiles is a noise pop / indie pop band from San Diego, California, US. The group was formed in 2008 by core members Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell after the break-up of their former punk bands Some Girls and The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower.

One of our favourite bands, and first to support Northern Transmissions, Crocodiles, comprised of Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell, release their new album, Upside Down In Heaven on April 7th via Lolipop Records.
Crocodiles — Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell — have had a nearly 25 year history: After initially becoming acquainted at a local Anti-Racist Action meeting, Welchez and Rowell found their respective teenage bands booked on the same bill at a punk gig hosted at a Mexican restaurant in their native San Diego.
