Dave Stahlberg The Ides of March is an American jazz rock [1] band that had a major US and minor UK hit with the song " Vehicle " in 1970. After going on hiatus in 1973, the band returned with their original line-up in 1990 and has been active since then.
Dave Stahlberg retired from the band, and trombone player Henry Salgado joined in his place. 2016: The Ides are featured in the premiere episode of Public Television’s “SOUNDSTAGE” (American Garage). Jim Peterik co-hosts the show, and The Ides are the “House Band”.
