Mask of Smiles is the third solo album by British rock singer-songwriter John Waite. It was released in mid-1985. The previous year, Waite's "Missing You" was a No. 1 hit. There were two singles released from this disc.
Mask of Smiles was begun on Long Island at the Boogie Hotel. The board kept breaking down so we spent a lot time at the local bar. In the end I had to up and move it all back to the city.

Over-produced records like this one were coming out by the hundreds in the mid-1980s but this one had the 'privilege' of featuring John Waite on vocals and songwriting, which makes it listenable (but little else really). Published.
