Escape is a 1948 British-American thriller film directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz. It follows a Royal Air Force World War II veteran ( Rex Harrison) who goes to prison and then escapes and meets a woman who persuades him to surrender.

15 de nov. de 2018 · During a fight to protect a woman, former RAF aviator Matt Denant accidentally kills a detective. Sentenced to three years in prison, Denant is not able to accept the injustice of which he is a victim and decides to escape.
Poor old Rex Harrison ("Denant") is taking a stroll though a foggy park when he gets involved in a tragic contretemps with a prostitute and an undercover police officer. The ensuing fracas sees the officer fall to the ground where he bangs his head on the leg of a bench and dies.
